Honouring The Anointing Of Your Prophet

TEXT: Exodus 28:1-5; Heb. 5:1,4; Thes. 5:12-13

INTRODUCTION

Nothing brings great blessing like appreciating the people placed over your life by God for leadership. God values everyone he has anointed because he set them forth to represent him in this life. Numbers 17:1-13.

THE BLESSING OF VALUING YOUR PROPHET

  1. Any man of God you do not value cannot be a blessing to your life.
  2. The more value you place on someone, the more important he becomes to you. Matt. 26:6-13
  3. Values are created in the mind before they are produced in action.
  4. Until you begin to value someone, you will not see such as a model, hero or mentor. Luke 7:36-50
  5. The anointing you never value will only waste your life instead of blessing. John 12:1-8
  6. God can kill, destroy or curse anyone no matter his or her position, status because of one of his anointed servant. Ps. 105:13-15

YOUR PROPHET IS SENT FOR YOUR BLESSINGS

  1. Men chosen by God are gifts to every generation to bless their life. John 1:6
  2. You can as well say today, there are prophets sent from God their names are Josephine and Joseph James. Jer. 1:4-5
  3. God has ordained it the "less is blessed by the better," but you must connect yourself to receive this blessing. Heb. 7:7
  4. Your captivity will be destroyed and you will be preserved from future dangers when you recognize the anointing placed over you. 2 Kings 4:1-7.
  5. Men who take God's anointed for granted have always suffered great consequence. Psalm 105:14-15
  6. The anointing of the prophet distinguishes your life and family. 2 Kings 4:1-7

If you are planted in the house of God and never uproot yourself up and down and from one place to another, you will surely have root downward and bear fruit upward. Ps. 92:12-15. Remember that the God's anointed you honor or dishonor is a man sent into your life to bless your life and family. He is chosen of God to take your life to higher heights and for a greater future.
