Passion For The Kingdom
TEXT: John 15:13, Romans 5:8, John 3:16, 2 Kings 3:22-27
INTRODUCTION
The kingdom of the devil has been fighting against God's kingdom by every means
available to stop the gospel from going on, but God is raising his passionate children to
stand for the kingdom. It is time for God's children to realize the purpose of their new
creation.
THE COST OF FREEDOM - THE PASSION OF LOVE
- Jesus gave his life for the kingdom - The passion of love took his life. John 15:13
- Nothing is comparable to the sacrifice of Christ on the cross, even when we deserve
it not, he died. Rom. 5:8
- Jesus says my meat (food) is to do the will of my Father and to finish it - Natural things
are not comparable to the value of the kingdom. John 4:31-35
- The cost of freedom is always blood - Freedom is not free - Heb. 2:14-15
- Christ became a man to serve - Phil. 2:5-8
THE VALUE OF THE KINGDOM - DEFENDING YOUR KINGDOM
- Equal Commission - Equal Sacrifice - John 20:21-22, Acts 5:17-21
- Laying down your life for your brethren - 1 John 3:16, Acts 5:27-29, 38-42
- Hazarding Life for the kingdom - Acts 9:11-16; 15:25-26; Esther 4:12-16 (Mordecai &
Esther)
- Standing for the heavenly vision - Acts 26:13-19
- Running with a purpose - 1 Cor. 9:24-27
- The Storms of the Kingdom - It is for all. Matt. 7:24-27
MISSIONS AT ALL COST - LOVE IS MORE THAN WORDS
- The zeal of the devil - Rev. 12:12
- Satan started fighting against the kingdom of God from the beginning. Matt. 4:8-9
- To steal - seeking obedience - misuse of supernatural power - if you are the son -
Matt. 4:3
- To kill - identity crises - misuse of natural power - if you are the son - Matt. 4:6
- To destroy - seeking worship - misusing divine worship - loving the world more
than God.
- The devil knows that with what he can do he can stop the kingdom and the gospel
from advancing. Matt. 28:10-15
- Joseph of Arimathaea could not allow the body of Christ to suffer shame. Matt.
27:57-60
- Mary - Joan - Suzan did not forget what Christ did for them. Luke 8:1-3 - Many others
who had no identity.
- Cornelius made memorial for the kingdom. Acts. 10:1-7
- People reject God at the time He needs them. Ps. 78:9-10
- Standing alone for the kingdom - Matt. 26:6-13; Ps. 41:1-3
- Kingdom Addiction - 1 Cor. 16:15-16
CONCLUSION
The Anointing is released when the work is moving - Mark 16:19-20; Acts 10:38
