The Danger of Poor Mentality

TEXT: Eccl. 9:13; Eccl. 10:10

INTRODUCTION

No man can increase more than his level of reasoning. The more you grow in knowledge the more you grow in the affairs of life. What you think about yourself determines the people you relate with. What you term your enemy could be your greatest helping factor in life:

I - RENEW YOUR MIND ABOUT LIFE

  • When you think so low you will obviously act low in life. 2 Kings 7:1-2.
  • The level of your knowing determines the level of your doing. Prov. 23:13; Prov. 24:3-4
  • When you live in the past you will be strange in a new generation.
  • What is in you determines the level of help you offer for those in need. 2 Kings 7:1-2
  • If you refuse to draw the water of knowledge from the well of life in other men you will be dry. Prov. 20:5
  • Your attitude shows people if you are wise or foolish. Eccl. 10:1-3

II - WHY MANY FAIL AND OTHERS SUCCEED

  • Many fail in life because of ignorance, some because of laziness, procrastination, fear, and others because they refuse to move to another level. Matt. 15:22-23
  • A lot of people think that God loves other people more than them; they decide to abandon the faith. Matt. 15:24-26
  • Success is a choice and a fight. When you decide to succeed, you simply proceed and plan, fight until it happens. Matt. 15:27-28

III - WHY SIT WE HERE TILL WE DIE

  • The only failure is the one who refuse to press forward in the midst of obstacles 2 Kings 7:1-20
  • What you see and hear are not the final but God's word is the final Esther 4:5-17
  • What happened to you quitted had happened to many and they succeed 2 Cor. 4:16-18
  • Just a little patience and you will make it like others. 1 Peter 5:6-10
