The Journey to Greatness

TEXT: Matt. 13:44-46; Luke 14:28-35

I. DESIRE TO RISE TO THE TOP

  • Living without purpose will completely destroy your life and future. Psalm 132:1-5
  • When men are ready to work, God will release His divine ability into them. Gen. 2:4-5
  • Your obedience to God's word determine your destiny fulfillment. Gen. 2:15
  • No one can produce anything until he desires to work. Eccl. 9:10; Eccl. 10:18

II. BEGIN YOUR DREAM BEFORE IT IS LATE

  • What you imagine in your heart determines your driving force in life. Isa. 2:2-3
  • It is your desire that drives your body into daily action. Desire to do great things in life. Luke 14:28-35
  • When you work in the will of God, He will support you but when you work outside His will you will be stopped. Gen. 11:1-7
  • Men of wisdom commit all they have to achieve their God's given goals in life. Matt. 13:44-46; Matt. 13:31-32; Prov. 15:16

III. PAY THE PRICE TO WIN THE PRIZE

  • Desire for greatness requires complete dedication. Prov. 22:29
  • The enemy is ready to scare you out of your vision if you refuse to strive to the end. Ps. 78:9-12
  • Your sacrifice attracts God's attention to the desires of your life. Esth. 4:16-17

IV. GOD IS READY TO BLESS WHEN YOU ARE READY TO DO

  • Doers of the word receive their required blessing as they obey God daily. James 1:21-25
  • Nothing valuable is free- but the cost of everything you need is affordable.
  • Your desire is not possible until you reach out for it. Luke 19:12-15
  • God is not a father that waste his prosperity on those who refuse to work. Prov. 24:30-34
  • Whatsoever you set out to do and stand firm to get it, you will have it. Eccl. 9:10; Eccl. 5:12
