Things Every Youth Must Know

INTRODUCTION

The gateway to most failures and destruction is based on ignorance, pride and disobedience.

WHY MANY YOUTH FAIL

• How do you use my mouth, do I say the right things - Do you involve in gossip? Prov. 18:7
• How do you behave in your secret life, do you compromise your life for anything? Eccl. 8:11-13
• Who is your secret friend that people do no know, are you doing the right thing? Eccl. 12:13-14
• How do you make my money, is it godly or cheating and stealing? Prov. 20:21
• Who influences my life, is such inspiring you for good or evil? 1 Cor. 15:33
• Are you a faithful youth servant in the house of God? Do you disobey? Prov. 25:19
• Do you think you are qualified to be married according to your character? Prov. 25:24
• Do you know how to speak wisely to people, or respond when angry? Prov. 25:11

THE GREAT MISTAKES OF THE YOUTH

• What value do you place on the things of God, are you sincere? Mal. 1:6-8
• Are you very sincere with your pastor; Are you a homosexual or lesbian? 1 Cor. 6:9-10
• Can your pastor stand and defend you and be right in what he says? Rev. 21:7-8
• What value do you place on opposite sex; do you look down on people? Eph. 5:21; 1 Pet. 3:6-7
• Do you respect church leaders, elders, deacons, other workers as God's servants? Heb. 13:7, 17
• When you borrow, do you find it very easy to pay back and on time? Ps. 37:21-26

BECOMING A YOUTH OF COVENANT

• Does your yes and no really stand as truth? Can God boast of you?
• Can God say, this is my youth in whom I am well pleased? Think well. Prov. 14:14
• Do you have deep respect for your parents? Not against the will of God. Prov. 23:22-26
• Do you join those that secretly fight against church and the pastor? Psalm 105:15

WHAT IS THE FOUNDATION YOU ARE LAYING

• Do you have secret premarital sex and you think it means nothing? Heb. 13:4; 1 Cor. 6:18-20
• When sinners criticize God, pastors and the church, what do you say? Prov. 26:20-27
• Can you evangelize around your house and business without accusing finger on you?
• As a newly married youth, what is your attitude to your spouse? 1 Peter 3:1-12
• Are you always wise and right in everything you do? Prov. 26:12; Prov. 15:31-33
• If the trumpet of Christ sounds now, do you think you will be raptured? 1 Cor. 15:1-58
• Do you drink alcohol secretly and behave as if you don't? Prov. 20:1; Prov. 1:7
• Are you lazy? Do you take care of the places people cannot see? Prov. 24:30-34; Prov. 24:3-6
• Do you reward evil for good done to you? Learn to do well. Prov. 17:13
