Understanding Divine Direction I

Text: Gen. 6:12-22; Ex. 24:12-18; Ex. 25:40; Heb. 8:5

INTRODUCTION

Life is full of misleading, wrong voices, wrong directions and humans wills and direction, if so then, we need to be extremely careful to what kind of voice we hear, and also make sure that we follows correctly and strictly God's command to our lives.

I - HOW TO KNOW DIVINE COMMISSION

  • Many today misunderstanding between vision and ambition. Vision is what you are created to do on earth while ambition is what you want to do and be. John 21:3-6
  • A divine commission is God's instruction or voice to accomplish a particular thing on earth. Ex. 24:12-18
  • Divine commission is know by God's backing no matter the problem. Ex. 25:40; Heb. 8:5; Job 8:7
  • You can only know that God is behind what you are doing or directing you when you find perfect peace in doing that thing. Neh. 4:1-23
  • Divine commission is know by its ability to stare oppositions and win. Matt. 7:24-27
  • Divine commission comes from constant instruction from the Lord and the Lord constantly provide for all his vision. Isa. 45:1-3; Prov. 4:18

II - STAYING FOCUS TO DIVINE DIRECTION

  • Divine commission requires focus and total commitment. Col. 4:17; 2 Tim. 2:1-5; Prov. 22:29; 1 Cor. 9:24
  • Divine commission requires people to be involved with the visioner. Luke 5:4-7
  • Divine commission requires endurance to accomplish it. 2 Tim. 2:1-5
  • When you miss focus and direction, then you have missed the vision. Launch into the deep Luke 5:4. Right hand side. John 21:6
  • Wisdom is the key to staying focused. Prov. 24:3-6

III - FULFILLING THE CAUSE OF YOUR LIFE

  • Working in the right place gives you joy of fulfillment. 2 Tim. 4:6-8
  • When we are sure of what we are doing we then count on the faithfulness of God to help us. 1 Thess. 5:24; Phil. 1:6
  • Pressing for word no matter the problem is the only way to fulfilling heavenly commission. Phil. 3:13-14; Acts 26:19; Luke 9:62
  • Ministry requires divine direction, and everything that man does on earth requires divine direction.
  • When God is off our vision, we simply leads to destruction. Prov. 14:12. You will give account. Rom. 14:12
  • The wisdom of God in man manifest the nature of God in operation through man. Gen. 2:15, 19-20
