Understanding Vision and Leadership

TEXT: Hab. 2:1-3; Col. 4:17; Psalm 11:3; 1 Cor. 11:3; John 4:34-35; Eccl. 8:1-5; Eccl. 9:10

INTRODUCTION

God created everything on the basis of fulfilling a responsibility. It is difficult to fulfill purposes and vision without work. 1 Sam. 10:20-26 (Very important) Ecc. 10:16-17

I - UNDERSTANDING THE VISION OF YOUR LEADER (LEV. 10:1-3)

  • Everything in life rises and falls on leadership. 1 Cor. 11:3, Prov. 24:21
  • Where there is no vision there is nothing like leadership and where there is vision there creation to be while ambition is what you want to be. Col. 4:17; 2 Tim. 2:2-5
  • We must understand the difference between vision and ambition - vision is what you are created to be while ambition is what you want to be. Col. 4:17; 2 Tim. 2:2-5
  • No vision can be achieved by one man - one vision *one man* one goal. Luke 16:10-13
  • The level you understand a vision determines the level of your operation. 1 Cor. 13:13-14; Hosea 4:6

II - BECOMING A PART OF VISION LEADERSHIP AND EXERCISING LEADERSHIP (JOHN 15:1-5)

  • You can't believe a vision without behaving it and you cannot behave it without becoming the vision totally. Phil. 3:13-14
  • We are called to build a vision not programs, but through programs and projects we can build a vision. Acts 26:19; Luke 8:1-3
  • You may be doing a good thing and not the right thing — discover what God has created you to do. Mark 10:17-22; Luke 16:10-13
  • If your vision does not inspire you, motivate you or drive you, you will soon be miserable and quit from what you are doing. Acts 26:19; Lev. 10:1-3
  • It is difficult to do what you don't know and you can fit in until you discover what God has you to do. Rom. 10:1-2
  • Discovering leads to doing and doing leads to fulfillment and happiness. John 13:17

III - WALK IN THE VISION OF YOUR LEADER (JOSHUA 1:16-18)

  • Where there is no proper leadership there will be proper confusion. Judges 21:25; Every vision must have leadership.
  • Everything that works well, works on principle and every outstanding results walk on principle. Prov. 24:3-6; Prov. 1:5-7
  • You are not called to fill or occupy a position, you are called into responsibility Ps. 49:20; only those who are committed to the price of leadership win the prize.
  • The type of picture you have concerning your leader determines your behavior towards him. Matt. 3:11-12; Hb. 5:14, 28:13; Joshua 1:5-7; Eccl. 6:3
  • What you make to work for your leader God will make to work for you. Prov. 20:20; Prov. 30:17; 1 Thess. 5:12-13; Hosea 13:12 where the word of a king is Eccl. 8:4
  • No matter your position in life you need a leader, a guide, a father, mentor. Acts 10:1-6; Prov. 15:32; Prov. 16:18; Prov. 14:12; Prov. 15:5, 10; Prov. 26:26-27

IV - DISCOVER YOUR PLACE IN THE VISION (2 TIM. 2:1-5)

  • The leaves of a tree are the beauty of the tree while the fruits are the quality of the tree. John 15:1-5
  • A place of fulfillment of vision is discover. Prov. 20:5, 18; Col. 4:17
  • When you discover your place of leadership you need training. 2 Tim. 2:5; Phil. 4:9. Be faithful. Luke 16:10-13; Eph. 6:5-8; Col. 3:22-25
  • Every leadership position requires instruction, correction, follow-up and supervision to help you achieve your goal. Ex. 39:42-43; Ex. 25:40; Heb. 8:5; Vision and leadership is all about (1) Instruction, (2) Obedience and (3) Success.
  • (Hearing * Doing * Keeping) you can occupy yourself with family of your Leader God's Voice, have many telephone line for our father Ps. 78:9-12; Eccl. 9:10; Prov. 22:29
  • Prov. 24:30-34 Any day God leave me to speak to any of my leader or member concerning the vision or leadership my work is over. Joshua 1:1-2

V - 10 PERSONS THAT RECEIVED GOD'S MANDATE AND FULFILLED IT

  • Abraham - Gen. 12:1-18
  • Joseph - Gen. 39:4, 22
  • Moses - Num. 12:7
  • David - 1 Sam. 22:14
  • Daniel - Dan. 6:4
  • Jesus - John 4:34 - 35
  • Peter - 2 Peter 1:10-15
  • Paul - 2 Tim. 4:6-8
  • Timothy - 2 Tim. 4:5, 2:1-5
  • Archippus - Col. 4:17

You have a place in the vision. John 14:12-14; 2 Tim. 2:1-5. The vision you follow today can succeed if the branches bear fruit. 1 Cor. 9:24-27; 1 Cor. 15:58; 2 Sam. 18:21-32.
