Who Is Your Prophet?

TEXT: Exodus 28:1-5; Heb. 5:1,4; Matt. 10:40-42

INTRODUCTION

No matter how anointed a man is, no matter the level of signs, wonders and miracles he produces, if God has not sent you to work or be a Christian under such a servant of God, he or she is not your prophet. Yet he is a prophet to others and not yours. Everyone has a prophet he or she is sent to serve under and to be blessed. Nevertheless, to compliment one another, we then invite other gifts and callings to minister to children of God so that we can enjoy the gifts and callings of God in the lives of other men and women of God.

DISCOVER WHO YOUR PROPHET IS

  1. Your prophet is that person chosen by God to represent Him on your behalf, for example Apostle Joseph James is the Prophet of Dominion Faith Int'l Mission. Jer. 1:4-10
  2. A man that God has used to bless your life. Luke 8:1-3, Hosea 12:13
  3. Your prophet is your spiritual parent who is always there for you, not a person who is invited for a program. 2 Kings 4:12-17
  4. Your leader that cares when you are in any trouble. 2 Kings 4:18-37
  5. The man chosen by God to give account of your life, not only on earth but also in heaven. Heb. 13:7, 17.

HONOURING YOUR PROPHET PRESERVES YOUR LIFE

  1. Honouring your prophet will bless your life. Rom. 13:1-8
  2. Plan for the prosperity of God's anointed. 1 Cor. 9:7-14
  3. Prove your sonship or servant hood to your prophet. Mal. 1:6-8
  4. Connect to the prophet's anointing through seed sowing. Phil. 4:9-19
  5. Your family will be preserved by the words of your prophet. 2 Chr. 20:20
  6. Never go to see your prophet for prayers empty handed. 1 Sam. 9:6-9

TOUCHING YOUR PROPHET FOR GOD'S BLESSING

  • Love your prophet by blessing him well. Gal. 6:6-10, Rom. 13:10
  • Make good plans for your prophet. 2 Kings 4:8-14, 3 John 2-8
  • Give your prophet your best. Matt. 26:6-15

If Jesus needed peculiar and particular partners to make his ministry a success on earth, then his servant and the apostle of this ministry Joseph James needs gifted and financial men and women that will carry this vision to the ends of the earth.
